Savanah Arceneaux, founder of Savvy Sitters NOLA, started babysitting as soon as she didn't need a babysitter herself. Quickly realizing childcare was not just a way to earn an income, as it became a passion to practice and advocate for childcare and child safety. Born and raised in Colorado, Savanah made her way to NOLA in 2014.   Savanah's most recent career as a full-time nanny started in October of 2014 in Uptown New Orleans for a newborn baby boy and lasted 4 years. To this day, she is still considered a member of the family, and left that job feeling happier and more fulfilled than she'd ever been in a job. Through her experience as a nanny, she has realized there is nothing more important than quality child care, and sometimes, that can be difficult to find. Since her time in NOLA, Savanah has made lots of connections along the way, meeting tons of new families that were in search of a reliable nanny. While she was unavailable, Savanah took it upon herself to recruit responsible and caring individuals to be matched with several different families. From the positive feedback she received, Savanah was determined to create a reliable and affordable babysitting service for the city of New Orleans!
